This hare was grooming itself, did not pay to much notice of me.

f/5.6

Lens 400mm and TC 1.4.

Beanbag, car used as hide.

I like the detail in the hare, but all of the white IMHO brings the photo down. If there is no detail to be had, how about putting a black border aroung the image to define the photo?

I like the image as posted Loulou including the high key space. In fact I like that a lot. I would put a border around the image though. Love the pose and the intensity of the animal.

I like this image a lot ! And I personally do like the white all around the hare and the thin stripe of grass... Very nice.

There's a devious look in the hare's eye. I'd like to see the image in a larger form. As to the white space, I'm fond of using space in my work, also. It's part of.

Hello Loulou,

I like simple images so this one works very well for me. I quite like the thin band of grass that leads to the hare - nice leading line and a nice touch of colour. The hare itself looks well exposed (no easy matter in this situation). While I really like that the only bits of colour here are the hare and the grass, I'm almost left wishing that the white was some other colour (tho' don't ask me what colour - I can't imagine another colour that would work as continuous foreground and background given that most snow is white!). I do agree that a thin black line (or a black background here) would help constrain the image, but this is a pretty minor thing. Overall I quite like the image as posted!

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Cool pose and excellent exposure! I like this as posted. If anything I might experiment with taking just a bit off the left and top, maintaining proportion...just to make the main subject a little larger. Good work!

Love that extend leg and that line of grass. This is a very intriguing image. I have enjoyed looking at it a lot. A frame might have been good for this posting.

Nice capture Loulou. I agree with the comments about a border. Perhaps a bit more space on the right, but not much.
