This was just one of those winter evenings when everything found a way to co-exist in the cold. Small birds sharing a tree with a hawk as the sunset lit up the sky.

Nice! I like the nice pastels--great exposure here too. Id crop a little off the bottom--the dark lhs bottom doesnt add much for me here. :wavey:

Really beautiful scene, the tree is fantastic and the warm/cool contrast looks really great. I enjoyed seeing this picture.

The thing I like the most here is all the different layers, so I like the dark part at the bottom. Nice shot.

Nice shot Russell, well composed and with lovely colors. I also agree that cropping just a little off the bottom will really improve this shot. I would suggest just leaving a layer of the dark foliage at the bottom and cropping the lighter brown section out.

Great layered scene and I really like the comp and colors. The tree makes for a powerful element and adds drama. The lower left is a bit dark to me, but that's minor. Very nice!

Oh man, this is sweet. The shilouetted tree with the small birds (and there appears to be a larger one as well) adds alot to the image. Sky looks great as well
