My husband and I have embarked on a series of Tropical Abstracts. It has been fun to see the flora in a different light, so to speak.

As this has colors and cropped in a unique way, I like it. Something new! Good for you and a treat for us. Ken S

Margo: I especially like the color and light in this as well as the comp. For me this would be stronger yet if you were to heal/clone the hole in the upper petal as it breaks the rhythm of the shot somewhat and doesn't add anything attractive to the presentation. I find my eye drifting there and away from the more pleasing areas. >=))>

Interesting comment. I like the way different eyes see different things, so thanks for your input. I used it on purpose, as for me it pointed downward to the zig-zag lines leading to that luminescent point. I also liked its imperfection and the way (for me at least) it provided a point/counter-point element.

I think the light and colors make this great. Super good presentation in my opinion Margo.

Margo,
With the exception of the element you and Bill have already discussed I like this. I particularly like the pattern and the sense of a downward orientation. Looking forward to seeing more images. it sounds like a fun project.
