Skeletal Fall

More patchwork from a fall slope in the Smokies. I was attracted to the shapes and colors of the trees. I remember I couldn't quit get the angle I was looking for but ended on this comp.

Thanks for all your time and comments

Nice looking shot Anthony.
The web version is a hair too sharp IMHO.
I love your composition.
My only alteration would be a slight decrease in the vibrancy.
This is an excellent image I find quite amazing.

I think the comp works well here Anthony with the diagonal of green trees. The silver, red, and violet color are wonderful.

I love this shot Anthony, the diagonal of green is well placed but what gets me going is the patchwork of great colors and textures, especially the silvery blues. Great work as usual!

There's a beautiful, and unusual array of color here. The combo works very well. I really like what you have done with it. I might agree that a few of the bare trees seem a hair bright.

Nice work again Anthony. I like how the depth slowly comes out and the colors pop as you stare longer.

Another winner Anthony. Hang this on one side of the room and your prior shot on the apposing wall, and it will truly be a living room worth living in.

the colours here make this image really work for me. i'm not too comfortable with the composition - the reds draw my eye a little too much. i wouldn't mind seeing a zoomed in version, leaving out the reds and the top left corner as well!!?? my 2c. in reality, this is really a very nice scene.

beautiful anthony. The subtle cold hues on the bare trees are beautiful, and make pop up the warm colours of the clinging leaves. Wonderful.

Beautiful scene. The subject and even lighting work well together. Looking past the sharpness concerns mentioned previously by others I think this stands on its own very well. I like this as a rather non-standard fall photo. Kudos to you on finding a unique perspective on Fall even if you weren't happy with the end result for the angle of the shot.

I think you ended up with a great comp Anthony, the balance of color throughout the image and the prominent snow covered trees is very nice. Well Done!

What a beauty Anthony. You're on a roll with these forest images. You're starting to convince me to look within the broader scope of an image or landscape and find those little details with great appeal. An image within an image, so to speak. We have such grand landscapes here in the west that we often forget about the little things. Keep up the good work.

The lighter trees really make this image for me. Great contrast, in tone and color.

I would strongly consider cropping off 1/6 from the right edge. Really tightens up the image.
