This is a beautifully exposed tiger. I like the uplifted paw, the detail and the dead center, coming-right-at-you pose. It is too bad he chose to walk in the vehicle tracks, but you made the best of it by using the curve of the road as composition aid. Nice job.

Welcome to NPN. I look forward to your future postings and to reading your comments on the postings of others!

Hi Upjeet !
Welcome to NPN ! The look and the gait of the Tiger is impressive ! I may prefer to crop some of the foreground.

Hello Upjeet,
Nice image! I'll look forward to many more.
Everything leads of to the Tiger. I count at least six lines that lead to or terminate at the cat. A crop of as much as the top 1/4 +/- ) works for me when I scroll the image off the top of my screen. Doing that gives me a sense of a lower camera angle and a climbing right turn to the roadway making it look like he's coming down hill.
Stunning Animal and, it would appear, he wasn't finished with the shoot yet.
Thanks for sharing, or starting us on, this one.

Neil

Hi Upjeet and welcome to NPN. :wavey: They sure keep good records there in Bandhavgarh National Park; each time I see a tiger post from there I am surprised individual, age, parents and social security number are known! Probably because there are so few left and are therefore so strictly monitored.
I like the head on view and the intense look in this magnificent animal's eye. Personally I am not too fond of rods in wildlife images, but here is does sort of 'work'. Great first post and I am looking forward to seeing more of you work here. :toast:

Superb image, Upjeet! I am surprised about the comments about the inadvisability of including roads, but it is well known that tigers use roads for moving around in their territories, and I personally have no issues on this note. :toast:
