Pupu Springs (+ crop)

Golden Bay, NEW ZEALAND

Found these weird springs in the northern part of the south island. Not sure what the cause of the brilliant colours were but they seemed a good candidate for an abstract.

Canon 5DMKII, 70-200mm 2.8L IS at 180mm, ISO 100, f4, 1/13.

It has that stained glass appearance and what a combination of colors. Well seen.
A pool from Narnia perhaps?

Funky colors Winnie! Indeed a fantastic subject for an abstract, well seen! I wonder how this would turn out with a much slower SS though.

Incredible! The colors here are fantastic, and I love the soft ripple patterns. The light blue is drawing my eye a bit more than the rest of the image - I would consider a slight crop off the left to balance it out a little more.

No matter the source of these colors... you've captured a rainbow's worth of them! What a terrific, natural abstract. Nothing to nitpick here - this is beautiful.

awesome kaleidoscopic, colour-filled image. i might be tempted to crop a little from the left to reduce the dominance that the turquoise has.

Amazingly wild colors Winnie. We get a lot of these types of colors in the hot spring pools of Yellowstone. So I wonder if this is bacteria. Regardless, a great piece of work. Congrats.
