Doesn't get any better Bill. Stunning and absolutely an exceptional image. I guess that given the images I'm seeing in the gallery so far this week and I am going to need to reorganize my top 10 images. You just bumped an Ansel Adams off my list I think. Really fine work.

Very pretty Bill. Great lines throughout. One thing that I might like is a bit more light in the center. Maybe you can use a reflector to light up the dark center just a bit - or maybe you can add some 'fill' via post processing.

That's really beautiful Bill, and I love the POF and DOF here. The creamy yellows are nice too . . . yellow can be a bit overpowering sometimes, but this is very effective.

Nice contrast in colors, light and dark, and focus, sharp and soft. :toast:

This really does have a "vortex" feel, being sucked into the center. Wonderful, Bill. I like the lighting on the petals. I might prefer a touch more light on the center but no big deal.

Lovely little jewels, Bill, and I think I've lost my marbles. I could have sworn you posted something very similar recently and I can't find it. I remember comment on the swirl of petals coming from the center. Ah, well, perhaps it was this image and I only looked at it and didn't comment ... I like the curved lines leading the eye into the center.

Cheers,

Carol

This is an enchanting photo Bill! I really like the use of the petal edge as a leading line here.

In order to appreciate this shot you really need to view the larger photo. Excellent detail in the vortex Bill.
