Nice Sandy, I do wish, for my old eyes maybe, there was a bit more color seperation between the sky and the puffins head. Thanks for posting.

The flight capture is unique and neat, but I agree with John Tobias about the color seperation.

Got to love this one. I am always amazed at the mouth full of bait these guys always carry around. Wonderful capture and I am looking forward to more!

Hi Sandy, you've done very well to catch one of these birds in the air like this.
Not a lot of people will realise this but Puffins fly extremely fast, like bullets, you have to see it to believe it, so I for one fully appreciate your photo.
Well done.
Geoff.

Nice composition and getting the fish in the mouth is a nice touch. The detail appears to be lacking but that is likely more a result of DOF than anything else.

Love the mouthful Sandy and the look at the eye of one of the fish. I do see a noticeable halo around the bird that I would work on if this were mine.

This is great, Sandy. I like the wing position and fish in the bill.

As Geoffrey mentions, Puffins' flight is very fast, and the shot is even more difficult if they fly toward you.
Great capture.
