Cleaning the paw

Tiger cleaning the paw on black rock.
Since I see lots of images from Bandhavgarh, I'm tempted to post this one. It was shot more than twelve years ago, with a film camera. It has been more than five years, I've been to this park.
This image has been used on the cover of a wildlife guide book, also on the credit cards of Deutche Bank.
Thankyou so much for your kind attention & views!
Canon film camera & 70-200 lens.

Nice image you've captured. I like the action here as opposed to a static capture of him. I also like how the color of leaves compliment the color of the tiger along with the white lichen. Great shot.

Ahh, this very nice Jagdeep. I love the strong contrast, and the way the tiger jumps out of the dark environment. Not to mention those clear eyes It is no wonder this image has been used for several purposes! Thanks for sharing this. :toast:

This is a real beauty, Jagdeep. All the secondary detail contributes to appreciation for that face, paw, tongue and eyes. I also appreciate all the perfectly framed diagonals of tiger's backline, paws, elbow and face. Super. :toast:

Great image, Jagdeep.
The commercial success is no surprise. The scan does the image justice as well.
Cool Shot!

Wow! What a "soft" expression for a tiger. Endearing portrait. :toast:

Everything about this is captivatng! The eyes, the action, and the background that somehow combines the natural habitat where the tiger hides, wtih a background that contrasts enough to show it off in this frame. Congrats on the success of this capture.

Very nice and intimate Jagdeep. I would have left less room on the RHS myself but it still looks wonderful as presented. Congrats on the accolades and publications too.
