I saw this location on google earth and had to get a shot. This is a blend of about 5 images ( sometimes I loose count) for exposure and DOF, distracting branches removed in PS. I would of liked to have got a bit lower but my tripod won't let me.

Thanks for your comments.

Dean, what a beautiful spot!
I really like this image - colors, perspective, alpenglow, and flowers.
If possible, I'd like to see some detail recovered in the dark areas at the base of the mountain and in the reflection - try the shadow/highlight tool, if you have it. Even a small amount of detail in the trees would improve this nice shot.

I think it's a great shot Dean. Just a minor suggestion- perhaps the elements look just a bit "forced" into the scene and maybe some space below the flower could really help, but it's just an IMHO.
Great shot.

I think this looks very nice and very natural. It's quite beautiful and serene. I do wish for a bit more room at the bottom of the frame, but that is relatively minor.

A little more room on the bottom would have been nice, but overall a great scene. I like how the flowers stand out against the water.

Thanks for your suggestions. I've tried to lighten the trees a bit and added a bit more to the bottom that I had cropped. I'm not sure how much difference it makes so let me know what you think.

Wonderful simplicity. I wonder about a b/w try. Just b/c I like to wonder. What's w/ the white line on the side?

Nice. Middle ground seems a bit dark but the reflection is enticing. Could you see the flower on Google Earth?

Wow, that's some still water. Like the re-post better. The middle ground offers too much to go unseen. Nice shot.

aF- the white line is me screwing up cropping in ps.
Tony- of course I could see the flower on google earth. That's how I plan all my shots
Russ- the water is a slough and is actually flowing away from me but it was dead calm
Thanks for the comments,Dean

Great framing of the composition. The foreground really pops.

I was going ask about the flowers on google earth but I see Tony beat me to it. Very tranquil scene Dean. I do think off centering each of the 2 main subjects might make it even stronger since it's already such a great image.
