Black Honeyeater

Still wet and windy here. Here's one from last year. Black Honeyeaters were coming to feed on the flowers in this bush (hence the pollen in the bird's head) and this one is taking a breather.

ISO 400 f9 1/1250 exp comp -1/3

cheers
Rob

Very interesting BG here Rob. I really like it. Good DOF and nice sharpness on the bird where it counts. Also like the simple comp. Another great shot.

Sharp and well exposed. I like the pose and the perch compliments the bird.

An excellent shot Rob
Light looked difficult but you've captured it beautifully.
Well done.

Sorry to chime in a little late here Rob. I thought I had already posted but I think I was interupted during the post. Anyway, good sharp details, beautiful backdrop, head held high expression, catchlight in the eye and very good comp. Can't help you on this Rob. Nicely done.
