This photo was taken at Lake Casablanca State Park in Laredo, Tx in July 2010. We got more rain than normal which allowed for greener background opportunities. This image was obtained late in the afternoon on a day with softer light. Photo was taken from car window. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Nice image of a common bird. The background is pleasing and the focus and detail are very good.

Nice one, Carlos. I like the bg and pose, and the head is nice and sharp. My only nit would be that a little more dof might have been nice-maybe kick up the iso and f-stop.
