Beartooth Pass, WY. A bit more literal interpretation of the same falls as my last post. I like all the triangular shapes in the image. Your thoughts, as always, are appreciated.

Canon 5D2. 24-105. ISO 100. f/16. 0.5 sec. CP. See LARGER VERSION for best detail

Very nicely done Doug. I like your comp a lot, and the reflected color is beautiful. Nice shutter speed too. I do wish the center top rock wasn't cut off, but that's very minor.

Doug, I like all the water coming over the rocks and the colors are very complimentary. What I'm wondering is if bringing up the shadow on the foreground rock would even out the comp a bit. My eye seems to get stuck on that rock, although I really like the highlighted portion. This is just a thought. Might or might not work. I really like that last one, spectacular. Any color left below either side of the pass?

That's some really nice light and color and water motion as well. :toast:

Nice water action and I love the color reflected in the surface. On the fence about the large dark foreground boulder. I'm feeling a bit impeded by its presence.

Nice, i like this much more than the last one, not surprisingly. I like the exposure and golden highlites. Could take or leave the fg boulder, but it's not a deal breaker.

Nice mixture of shapes, lines and texture captured here. I love what that sky reflection adds to the image. Good stuff!

Beautiful Image Doug, thats some fantastic light. I like a pano crop that excludes the bottom boulder myself.

Thank you. Here's a repost.
Dean, last weekend, the trees were definitely past peak and about half of them lost all their leaves. The weekend before was great.

I like this even better than the last image. The textures in the rocks and water are very pleasing and the warm light flatters the scene.

I liked the previous post but this was the water action that I really like! the warm reflections are an excellent touch. Perhaps bringing the shadows out a little more on the fg rock would be nice (just a touch).

Hi Doug,
The colors on the water are amazing, very nice composition. The exposure might have been a tad long for me but I'm not sure.
