The mountains to the east here were shrouded in a blanketed of fog, looking as if the trees and hillside were shrink-wrapped inside. Thanks for looking and any C&C! Boo.

I wouldn't have guessed that was a hillside blanketed in fog, if you hadn't mentioned it viewing this web presentation. I like the mystery and mood captured here. A nice Halloween themed image.

Cool shot Bill! I like the base and the colors the trees provide and the background is trippy. Can't tell where things start or begin. Very interesting image. Nicely done.

Neat clouds/fog. They almost look like water. Definitely a haunted feel to this one.

You know, I think this is one of my favorites of yours, Bill! I have no nits at all here, I'm really liking it. What time of day was this taken???

Neat image, Bill. I would increase the exposure slightly.

I love the wispy nature of the fog, barely allowing you to see the tree color behind. Very mysterious.

Thanks all, there is certainly not for everyone's taste (as I can tell!!). I took it a few weeks ago, Chris it was taken just after dawn, barely. I was going back on forth on how and if to present it--then I realized with Halloween here, it is pretty eerie and fit the day. It was just strange how the fog seemed to cling to the hillside, like something out of "The Fog"?!

I sure thought this was water. The image really makes the viewer look to appreciate what is there- all the subtleties of form and nuances of color.
