Hey guys,

Here's another one from the Matterhorn area. This was taken before sunrise at lake Grindji. The exposure was quite tricky and required a few tries, but now I'm quite happy with it. Thanks for any comments you might have.

What a great shot, Dorin. Everything is well balanced and I love how you added the grass on the right to balance for the reflections on the left. Exposure-handling is spot on as well. The two extra nights before I arrived definitely paied off.

It's an eye candy..great shot. I was in the area in the summer, but did not have a chance to go to these alpine places with my 3 yrs old - will have to wait till he grows up a bit

Gorgeous work Dorin. I think you can selectively pump up the saturation a bit on the Earth's shadow. Overall, a stunner for sure...

Beautiful fall colors with a nice frame of the Matterhorn. Also like the grass leading up the right side. Nice work.

Outstanding image, Dorin. The grasses on the right really give some depth and a nice element to a beautiful composition. Well done.

I cannot get enough of this area. Such a beautiful location. In general I would say the image (in relation to post-processing) is a little flatter than it needs to be. A quick mid-tone contrast adjustment would do wonders for this photo helping the yellow trees pop against the lake and sky. Fantastic image, but not yet reaching its full potential.
