Love the warm light on the foreground brush and mountains Bob. Excellent detail in the large view.

The low-angle light provides really nice shadows and (of course) color to this scene. I like the lone cactus completing the comp. Very nice!

Beautiful light and an appealing composition Bob. Makes me want to be there. Reminds me a little bit of Pawnee Buttes here in Colorado, particularly the erosion at the base. I wish we had that cactus too. (smile)

Bob,
Amazing light and I love the sweeping composition and vivid greens. Not your typical desert image.

Nice all around. I really like the cactus filling the open spot in the sky on the right.

Awesome shot, Bob. A really classic sweeping composition that reminds me of a Hollywood western, yet it's so green! Must have had some good rain? The beautiful, warm side light makes this a real winner.Beautiful!

I think adding the cactus to the composition put this over the top!

Very nice shot Bob. The side lighting created some exceptional depth in this scene. I really like the saguaro on the right.

Lovely comp and colors, Bob. I think it would really be worth opening up the shadows on the rock a bit using the 'fill light' slider in RAW or the 'shadows/highlights' in PS - as it is, the darkness distracts the eye from an otherwise awesome image and great light.

Stunning light, and a very nice composition with the cactus as a good counterpoint to the Dutchman. Nicely done!
