Another San Diego winter sunset, I always keep my 5dii w/24-105 with me. This one is at 24. I wish I brought my ziess 21. What is interesting and unique about this shot is that the bright spot in the sky is not the sun. The sun out of the frame to the north and this was shot about 45 minutes before the sunset, not needing a grad filter.

Looks fine, Todd. A bit wider would be nice to obtain better framing from the rocks. Why am I the first comment here

A classic coastal scene. I love the color palette and the mix of cool and warm tones. A very peaceful image.

The light on the cliffs and the sheen on the ocean are what really do it for me Todd. Nice handling of the exposure too. How do you fine the Ziess 21? After i get my telephoto lens my next purchase will be a wide angle prime. Thanks.

Love the water texture and the colors in it. What SS did you use if you don't mind me asking Todd?

Thank you everyone,

Raymond-This was not shot with the CZ21 but I really like the lens, the images seem a little cooler and have a little more pop out of the camera and of course it's sharp everywhere. The wave distortion has been an issue for me.
Bill-The shutter speed was .8 seconds and at f16

Yeah a couple more millimeters might have been nice, but I really like this as is too. The light, and color is beautiful. I might be slightly tempted to do a low opacity clone on the bright spot??
