Disappearing Pool

The pool at the bottom of Abathasca Falls suddenly disappears under the ice crust. Levels and curves adjustments mainly on the rock walls but no enhancement of the water color other than adding some contrast.

C&C appreciated. (As Sandy points out I'm having compression problems sharpening the rocks for upload.)

53 views and not a comment? wow.. sorry..
Very pretty!
Perfect water and color, and good handling of the whites.
The rocks seem a bit over-sharpened, and I might try cropping just a bit more off the bottom and adding a bit on the top.
Well worth a little more work.

Barry you could always mask some of that sharpening to lessen it on the rocks. I do like the comp. with the water coming in your face. I would give the water a bump in saturation and dodge the snow around the front a bit. I might also try saturating the cliff some too. I think the picture has potential and a little more work could make it sing. Barry I hope that is some help to you, I know I post here too and I am always looking for ways to improve my photo's and that's what I hope I have provide for you.Cheers

I like this Barry, it has a minimalist approach to the scene. Almost a monotone image for a subtle feeling for the viewer.
