Cairngorms Winter Scene

It was a cloudy, misty day and I was taking some pictures in the snow when all of a sudden the sun broke through the clouds and offered me a beautiful view on the Cairngorms. It only lasted a few minutes. The mist, the snow, the sun and the clouds made the layered landscape stand out like this.

The light on the distant peaks is incredible! Overall, this is pretty nice, although i might have preferred a bit more of the bottom and a bit less of the top.

Gorgeous light on the mountains--they really pop out of the scene. I love the layered look you've achieved here.

The light on the hills is great. I agree with Stan and could see this with a crop of the sky so that only a small sliver of the brighter clouds was included.
