My first attempts at slot canyon photography. I thought the cool tones in this one suited the title, and the glowing "eyes" above.

It does look ghostly! Beautiful image, with great textures and forms.

An interesting take on this area. The "eyes" draw my attention to the top half of the photo so I wouldn't mind a bit more detail up there. The cool tones work well.

So used to seeing super saturated images from this area, this is actually quite easy on my eyes. The subtle tones really work well here Harry, and the complexity of the image is also pretty cool. I suppose as a photoshop dynamic range fanatic, I could go for a bit more detail in the shadows. Very cool.

Thanks everyone for your comments. This was a crop. The original has another opening above, but I thought it distracted from the comp.
Nic- I probably could pull out more detail from the shadows, but I decided to leave them pretty dark to emphasize the openings and the rock below.

I like the eyes. I do think the image needs a big saturation boost, though. Let's see those reds and blues!

I've always thought there were good possibilities shooting slots in complete shadow, i.e. no glow. These are really nice colors and textures.

Like this a lot, Harry! The cool tones are a nice change from the usual. Really lets the light paint in the details on the texture of the walls. The "eyes" are so spooky– great find in there among the endless possibilities for comps!

A very natural approach to the canyons. I like it. Its probably easy to get carried away with processing here.
I do like this very much
Great work Harry
