I like this version better, Hamed. Excellent job with the reprocessing.

Hamed, I didn't see the other version, but I'm going to say there's something that doesn't quite feel right to me about the angle of light and contrasts here, almost like the sky was taken from another image or another direction. I think the foreground needs just a little more contrast and needs to be a bit darker, particularly near the horizon and the sky might even be a bit brighter with more yellows in an attempt to balance this even more. Compositionally, I like it.

Beautliful light and patterns Hamed. There is a disconnect between the sky land's relation to each other (my opinion not a fact). Little more tweaking.

I didn't see the previous version, but love the composition and conditions here. I agree the color balance and light levels in the sky and sand seem a bit at odds.

Yes, this one is much better!
Great subtle colors here, with just enough detail in the sand.

I’ll second the suggestions you got this far and add that you either you keep the foreground light and match the sky for softer feel with a less dramatic rendering or the opposite which would be to keep the contrast dark sky but balance the sand especially as Mark noted with the edge of the dunes going darker. The composition is good.

A world of difference Hamed. This is much better, but I think the dunes could now be just a little darker and with just a little more contrast.

I think you are on the right track Hamed. I do agree with the others in regards to the processing but think a little tweaking should do the trick.

I would agree with Marc's comments about the accuracy of the lighting however it is visually very pleasing whatever you've done and that's what counts the most. There's an end of the world feel which I like a lot.

Awesome comp and light! I agree with Marc and the others. I think if you use the foreground as in the top post, and use the sky close to how you see it in the original exposure that you posted (with some minor adjuestments for clarity etc) it will be perfect.

Hamed,

While I can certainly see and understand what Marc commented about, I think your results are wonderful. Especially considering your starting points. I'd say great job on your processing. Perhaps some work with some of those suggestions, but I think you did very well with this. Amazing what you were able to pull out of the sky.

I think this is awesome Hamed, I can see some of the processing concerns, but regardless I think the image is very nice. The colors and light are wonderful, and the comp is excellent. Really a striking image, well done! :toast:
