Meeting at the causeway

Foggy morning at Hampstead Heath causeway. The pond had partly frozen over from the recent deep freeze in London. The weather has warmed up recently and families are taking advantage of the warmer temperature to stroll across the causeway.

D90 18-200 at 18mm F6.3 1/160sec HH. Thanks for looking and C&C appreciated. Larger version available.

Very nice Gary, the single bird at the top of the frame slightly off center really makes this special for me. Great mood and pano works! :toast:

I like the monochromatic scene here. The bird at the top makes this photo. The orange buoy at LLH is little distracting to me.

This is wonderful. The mood and feeling here is very nice. I too like the bird at the top, but the whole scene just works so well. I go along with the orange buoy or whatever it is being a little distracting. Nice work, Gary.

Beautiful shot Gary. Has a mystical sort of feeling to it. I like it very much just as it is but I might try cropping a little off the left edge to de-center the main elements a bit.

Wonderful, almost mystical scene Gary. The mist adds some great moodiness but I think the birds, especially the one near the upper center area make the scene dynamic. Excellent capture!

Terrific mood in this shot Gary. The soaring bird seem to balance that blank part of the sky well.

The large version is awesome. The feeling is timeless and the fog adds a painterly quality to this image.
The orange thingie is a distraction, but easily removed.
Happy New Year!
