Matterhorn Reflections

This one is from last summer. I spent the night at Stellisee to take some early morning shots of the Matterhorn with its reflections in that little lake.....unfortunately someone put this ugly sculpture there and I was urged to look for different compositions...anyway, I wanted to take at least one shot of the composition I had in mind despite of that awful object at the edge of the lake. Taken early morning a couple of minutes before sunrise.

Simple and well composed. I would consider cropping maybe 1/4 -1/3 of the sky as it's a lot of empty space (great color, though). Because that sculpture is so dark you could probably get away with cloning it out and not have it noticed.

Must have been an awesome sight.
The sculpture could probably be cloned out quite easily.
Well captured.

Beautiful reflection and magnificent view Bill. Glad you decided not to clone out the sculpture and post here on M&N. Thanks.

What a fantastic shot, the exposure and the reflections are just perfect. Too bad for the sculpture
