My previous upload showed the overview. Now we go back in time a couple of hours when I was wandering along the foreshore....

I really like the textures, and lines. I wondered whether a crop to the top will make it even better. Maybe a square with the bottom part!

Julian,

The warmth captured here is in such great contrast to the colder, moody overview you recently posted. Fascinating geology here and the warm/cool balance of light here is quite lovely. sure looks like a place a photographer could spend plenty of time with. Nicely captured.

Have you completely switched over now? Or do you still use the LF?

I like the contrasting colors and textures a lot. The top element is a bit distracting. A scroll crop simplified things very nicely.

Beautiful light, color, and pattern, Julian. Love the contrast with the warm and cool tones. Hope you were able to expose a sheet of 4x5 with this. Excellent.

Thanks, guys!

@Vance and Lon: I'm still shooting 4x5 because I still don't feel totally at home with digital but this latest batch was digital-only due to logistical reasons.

Wonderful Julian. I only wonder whether cropping the slightly different top area would focus more the attention on the textures and geometry-border of the foreground. Glorious light indeed...
