This is my african grey, Link. He alwyas comes out of his cage to see what I am upto. I shot this the day I bought my F/1.8 50mm prime. The only lighting is from a dim wall fixture. ISO 3200 1/80sec hand held.

An interesting experiment, but far too dark and lacking in detail and context for my tastes.

More of a Photo Art image IMO. That said -I do like the texture of the feathers and the look you captured.If this were my image of my bird I would be pleased.
