Checking out a C17

This is one of my favorite Egret shots. This one had turned its head up as and Air Force C17 was making its landing approach and I love its inquisical look. I know that there are the oof grasses in the lower right but I chose not to attempt to clone them out.
Comments and suggestions always welcome!

Very cool head turn, Dan. I don't think I've seen this quizzical looking pose in an egret image before. Nice light and good exposure. :toast:

Very nice capture; the head angle makes the shot. The OOF grasses are a bit of a distraction.

Love the head turn Dan and the story behind why the bird had its head turned that way. Nice work on the exposure, good look at the eye and the "golden slippers". I don't usually like squarish crops but I think it is very effective for this image. The oof grasses don't bother me much.

Interesting cock of the head and I like the natural setting with all the shell fragments Dan. White exposure looks good too.

He does seem to be quite interested in the C17. I like the crop and you have nice detail here.
