Out before dawn every morning and captured many sunrises, but this is my favorite. Slightly cropped and resized for post.

C&C appreciated

Stunning tree, I'm thinking lion king already. The image does looks a little pixelated however, how have you downscaled the image? Tristan

A gorgeous sunrise Lisa. Rich, warm color, and I like the bird in the tree too. Some slight haloing around the tree, but that can be remedied easily enough.

Lisa,

Wonderful sunrise and silhouette of the tree. This is an image that so captures what I've always pictured in my mind of the Serengheti - of course it's images like this that are my only reference...

Curious, there must have been some sort of obstruction or something for not including more on the left to include the entire tree? I like this as captured, but just curious about positioning.

Thanks for sharing.

Lon

This is really nice, Lisa. I also wondered about why the tree is cut off, but as is, you've balanced it nicely with the distant trees on the right horizon. Nice job.
