Female cardinal photographed during a particularly heavy snowfall, at least for us in SE Connecticut.

Canon 40D, 100-400IS at 330mm. 1/200sec, f5.6 and iso 400. 65% of FF.
Normal processing and sharpening is CS5. Larger image provided. All C&C welcome.

I like this a lot Larry. Beautiful mood and I find the color palette of the image very appealing. I also like the soft light and the effect of it on the bird's feathers. A very fine image for my tastes.
