We've had a great winter so far. Lots of snow and I was taken by the amount of snow clinging to everything yet this shallow stream still runs free of ice.

Loved this B&W winter scene. Excellent composition and especially exposure handled perfectly.

Beautiful winter scene. I would like to see this in color too. The creek water is a little dark for my tastes. Lovely conditions.

That is quite a bit of snow. Very nice comp and you handled the mixed light very well, too.

Love the composition. Really gives a feel for the volume of snow that has fallen. Nicely done.

I'm really enjoying the very dark water and bright snow. As a suggestion maybe try a crop with the right side cut out to emphasize the black water and its surroundings. Very nice shot.

My eyes came right to this image when I opened the gallery today. Love it. I'm pretty partial to B&W anyway and this one is excellent. Very nicely done.

A really beautiful shot, Bob. The soft, marshmallow-like snow is a wonderful contrast to the darker trees, and provides very interesting shape and form. Wonderful light and comp. I also like the subtle toning you've done. Very nice.

A classic beautiful winter scene Bob. The dark water doesn't bother me at all. In the larger picture there is some lovely light on it. Very nice. Cheers
