Ian,
I commented on this at about 6:00am this morning but apparently didn't press "add comment". This is an exceptional image for my tastes. Superb detail, color and light - and a compelling sense of depth and presence. As fine an anemone as I've seen.

Wonderful detail and I love the rich color in this shot. With everything so tack sharp and full of detail the small oof LL corner is a bit distracting. Can you make that go away? Beautiful shot Ian.

Just lovely, Ian! DOF, color and sharpness are spot on. The comp is simple but very effective. As Bill would say, two thumbs up!

Masterfully executed in every way. It might be a little tight on the left but that's really so very minor. Excellent image.

I like your take on these a lot. This one looks fuzzy in the middle (texture, not a focus issue!) like it would be soft. The light is lovely on this as well, Ian. Beautiful!

Great shot, Ian. The center of this anemone is full of eye-catching detail. Is this a crop or are you able to get in this close with the 100....or did you use extension tubes??
Nice work, as always.

Mark : this was taken just with the 100mm lens. There is a small crop ( maybe 5-10% ) and, I think, a degree of straightening. And thanks, everyone, for the comments - much appreciated.
