Well this is a merge of 6 subsequent shots taken on a pond at Lake Manyara Ntl. Park in Tanzania.
It is a very large image, the original merge, so reduced to posting dimensions might not be easy to view (also at 1200px)

6 shots
composition made in CS3 no other tuning performed except adding some blur to the BG.

Your comment wil be very appreciated.

Cheers, Luca

Luca,

These pelicans land in a very similar manner as the American White Pelicans do here. Nice work with this series and keeping them sharp. I think this may have been stronger if the pelican had been going towards the sun rather than away from it because the angle of the light has left the head of the pelican in the shadows in all six frames. I hope that makes sense?

Mia,
I had a problem here: I do no speak Pelikanish so I couldn't ask him to retry. Of course I'm joking. You are all right. Thanks.

Luca,

I don't speak Pelikanish either, if I did I would ask them to fly towards the sun for you!

Interesting composition, Luca, and well-executed. I know what you mean about the sun angle. I tell the birds what I want them to do, and they never listen.
