Matthews River

Taken last August on the south slope of the Brooks Range about 7 miles up from the confluence of the Bettles and Dietrich Rivers on the Haul Road, up the Bettles, then about 5 miles up the Matthews, heading north.

Nice canyon in this area but difficult to navigate with canoe if the water us up slightly.
