I have posted two females, so here is a male. I like the light and the flight position of this bird. The eye is nice too as the red really shows well in this shot. A simple comp with a blue sky BG, but I still like it. Please view larger image for max detials. Thanks so much for looking.

Super flight shot Ron. Maybe not as much ID detail as on the galsl, but the position is wonderful.

Ron, really like the intense look in the face and the well separated head and beak. The eye is spectacular. I just noticed another similarity between this species and harriers - the white rump patch, which is nicely exposed BTW. Another fine flight shot.

Ron B, I like the light blue background, it shows off the kite. The detail really allows me to inspect the bird. Thanks.

Holy mackerel, great flight photo. Background color suits the birds slaty coloration. :toast: :toast:

I like the banking pose and eye contact. A bit of fine grained noise evident in the plumage in the larger image - maybe try a round of NR over bird if it doesn't take awy too much detail. BTW good angle to hide the band too

You truly are the master of handheld flight photos. Another great one and the eye is awesome. Wouldn't wanna mess with him.Hey Ron, I hope you have insurance on that equipment taking it out on the boat? I learned a tough lesson with my smart phone walking across a lagoon a month ago..

Another beautiful image, Ron! No nits. The kite pops very nicely against the pale blue sky and the wingspread pose is tops. :toast:

The red eye with that intense look and the nice curved beak really make this shot for me, interesting to see the difference between the male and female as I have never seen one of these, nice job Ron, way to go.
