Sunrise

This is another early fall sunrise shot I made at Lake of The Clouds in the Porcupine Mountains. I know I posted a different one from here before, but I think I like this one better. I think I used a 3 stop soft grad with this, can't remember for sure. Thanks for looking.

This is really nice Nick. Grand sunrise color, especially on the reflection. Black border looks fine to me.;

The clouds are gorgeous. Sunrises (or sunsets) this good, while common in photography, are rarer in real life.

Thanks for your comments on this sunrise so far. As always, much appreciated. This was probably my best morning at this place out of many, many mornings over several years. I thought Tony made an interesting comment about how beautiful sunrise / sunsets are pretty common in photography, but they are much more rare in the real world. That is so true when we think about it, as photographers we all know how many times we are out there and get nothing... time after time. Good thing we are a persistent bunch. Thanks all,
