Canon MIII 300 mm 2.8 L w/2x
ISO 400 f9 @1/640 tripod.cropped about 10% from the oof bottom area

Nice comp. Baby anything are always cute. I like the action in the image, it looks like an inquisitive youngster.

Cheryl,
Great depth of field on this shot. Terrific sharpness from beak to back. Love the pose. Great capture. Sorry to hear about the sibling. Hopefully it pops up somewhere.

LOL!
He looks like Bambi, smelling his first flower.
Fine detail, love the comp (perfectly placed in the frame) and soft colours, and the "cuteness factor" is about a 12+ .
Really nice work!

What a perfectly charming picture and pose Cheryl! We don't really experience Spring as such over here in Thailand, so it's a real pleasure to see images that represent this season so well :^)

This looks good to me Cheryl. Love those knobby knees and the impression that it's smelling the flowers. Comp works well for me too.

Really a great and emotional shot Cheryl. A bit of light in the eye would have been a great addition, but this is great as posted.

A very sweet image Cheryl, I think the pose of the chick with it's bill partially hidden and the clover flowers make this appealing to me. Lovely light, setting and comp.

I really like the softness and the composition. I hope to find some colts myself this spring!

Definitely a favorite of mine. The colors of the crane and then the flowers work in harmony. But the real kicker is that this big boy is a baby. Love the low pov and all that fluff.

Very sweet shot, I guess we should all take the time to stop and smell the flowers! Great job!
