This image combines my two favorite aspects of slot canyon photography, bounce light and optical illusions.

I really enjoyed showing this image at my recent art show, before I do a big print run I wanted to run it by you guys first!

Thanks for the feedback!

Awesome, Justin. Love the texture of the sandstone, and the natural gradients of light and color... Great composition too! Well executed!!! :toast:

After looking at it for a little bit it grows on me. Like the way the fg feature fits into the bg. Great light and processing

Justin! I love this shot. The textures and light are very appealing. However, I was planning on posting my own image from almost exactly the same spot later this week. That's what I get for going here after over a decade of purposely staying a way--still can't find an original image. I'll probably still post my image as it does look a little different, but I do believe now that there are now new images left in this place. None!

(NOTE: That comment is merely to underscore the coincidence the we happen to be working on nearly the same picture at the same time, Justin. I actually think this image is quite original for this place and communicates the quality of light possible here very well. Really, for someone looking to shoot sandstone, the place it far too seductive to ignore.)
