When I see photos like this I think yow perfectly adapted this plant must be to this place and how all the best conditions to encourage its growth came together this year. This is nicely composed. I like the sense of order the garlic brings to the seemingly chaotic place.

You have taken a chaotic woodland scene and made a very pleasing arrangement, Peter. The garlic balances the trees beautifully. I also think an image of just the garlic would be an alternate comp from this area.

Peter, I like this one. A chaotic scene but you arranged it so well. Good composition.

I love how the garlic provides a sense of depth Peter. The foreground is especially delightful. Wonderful comp.

Very nice sense of depth and depiction of the abundance of the garlic. The glow of the moss on the downed tree is a great addition and it provides a good "horizon" to separate the garlic from the trees in the background.

I like your composition here with the strong foreground. I'm immediately drawn to the detail in the foreground and led through the scene. A couple of nits that I noticed: 1) The branches that have fallen into the flowers interrupt the flow of the composition a little (the larger one to the left of center is the most obvious but there is another smaller branch to the right of center in the middleground of the flowers). This is not a deal breaker but I think it does interrupt the flow of the composition a little. 2) The upper portion of the frame feels over-sharpened. This may just be due to compression. The sharpness of the foreground is perfect and I enjoy all of the fine detail. Maybe you could use a layer mask for the sharpening and paint out the upper portion of the frame. Or maybe it is just an issue with the web presentation. Great work overall. This is a very enjoyable photograph!!

Seems like the nature and you Peter are doing the job perfectly well :) Never seen a blooming garlic to be honest.
I very much your photo. Especially because of its composition.

A beautiful shot Peter. Lovely FG of course, but the downed tree covered in moss is a great element too. Very nice.

Beautiful scene and I like the composition. It seems a bit oversharpened on my monitor though.
