Canon 7D, Canon 400 mm 5.6 lens, f 7.1, ISO 500, 1/1600sec.Approx 50% crop. Some PS exposure adjustment.

Hi Roger: Love it. The eagle against the backdrop of the mountains adds to the overall impact of this shot. Nice work with the exposure on a bright day.

I really like this capture: eyes, feet, implied action, great EV, snow in the background..... Also the color in the leadingwing edge is tack sharp. Thanks for sharing.

Sweet catch for both you and the eagle. I like how the mountains seem to lead the eagle through the frame. Excellent detail in the head and shadows under the wing. Nice Work Roger

This is a nice eagle image. Good technicals, nice position on the bird, and snow capped mountains as a backdrop. Nicely done.

Awesome shot Roger. I'm really not an avian shooter but I know what I like and this is a very cool image. The composition is well balancec without seeming static and the exposure is about perfect. The fish in the grasp is a great element also. Well done.

Large view looks superb Roger, the snow capped mountains BG really transform the image.
When one thinks of an eagle, they think of it flying high..this gives that soaring high in the sky impression..
Techs look flawless to me, wish it was mine
