Indian Rhubarb

The Indian Rhubarb in my garden was flowering abundantly a few months ago. I always like the bare flower stems emerging from the ground. They keep growing and growing untill almost a meter high before opening their flowers.

I like the light on this Ellen and the black bg. I also like the small piece that hangs down from the rest of the subject. A very fine image and a mood that appeals to me.

Ellen, I always look forward to seeing your images, both because of your knowledge and your photographic skill.

In this image, I really like how the outer flowers pop out against the black background.

Lovely,

Carol

Very good lighting, Ellen and well controlled whites. Like Pat, I too find that "hanging" flower on the right
