A fresh Tiger Lily is always awesome, Timothy  - like you have here. Tough not to make nice photos from this flower. I am not totally sold on the OOF one on the back but the one in the front for sure is nice !!!!

Tim: Intriguing comp and a superb capture of the main subject. I'm a bit uncertain about the BG flower as well but I do like its presence. I might like it more if it wasn't clipped. I'd also like to know where you cropped. Overall I think this is well conceived and presented. >=))>

Such beautiful colors! Really lovely image. One thing that seems a bit odd is that the stem of the FG flower is OOF, but the stem of the OOF background flower is sharp. Seems to create a bit of an optical illusion.

Beautiful tones in this! I like the placement of the main flower and the detail is splendid, but I almost wish the top part of the washed out Lily was not cropped. Overall, nicely done.

Love the colors in these flowers and how they blend so nicely with your BG. I think that it would be better to include all of none of the BG flower. The chopped off top feels awkward. IMO totally cropping that BG flower and stem out and leaving the foreground flower would make a fantastic picture. Good DOF focus on front flower stamens.

Oh YEAH! That's the ticket to making this an outstanding capture. Great advice from the photographers here.

Wow, the repost is absolutely wonderful! You will have to repost that at a later point in Flora again so everyone can see it.

I really like the lighting and the mood. Not sure about the OOF flower but the front flower is a real beauty.

I wud like to differ from the majority here (sorry guys  )
I like the first post more then the repost (although the repost is a lovely portrait) i always like when wildflowers are taken in creative compositions coz they are hard to come by
Although i wud have enjoyed it more if the OOF was not clipped also if this were mine i wud jus selectively burn the OOF bloom a tad bit & dodge the main bloom by a tad
