I post this in Man & Nature due to the houses in the background. Thouhg they are really small, I think it belongs in this category. it's so hard to make a composition here in switzerland with no man-made stuff included.
Anyway, this one is taken on a spring morning

Nice dreamy effect, Bill. You held detail in a very broad area. Great shot.

Bill, I like your composition here very much. The lily pads make a nice foreground for the dramatic sunrise.

I like this alot, Bill. You captured a wonderful feel in this photograph. The light on the lily pads in the foreground looks really nice and I love the fog and mist. Nice color as well.

Lovely image Bill - clearly a lovely morning to be out and about and you've done a super job of capturing that feel - not to mention handling potentially tricky light.

Mornings are the best time of day for me, every part of this makes me feel good! The clouds reflecting warm light, the mist and the amazing color of the sun and lily pads make this an award winner! As i look at it i hear faint birds chirping and frogs splashing.

I don't think its morally or in any other way wrong to use the "Clone" tool in Photoshop. We are image makers and to adjust your end product is only the last step in many many decisions the photographer makes. A purist would argue with me, I can live with that.

Fantastic job!

Hey Bill,

Thank you for your stats. I did wonder how small an aperture you had to use to get everything so nicely in focus. I suspected that it was f/22.

Wow, Bill, this is beautiful. I love it when the morning fog cooperates like this to give you an unobscured sunrise and perfectly clear foreground.

This is terrific. I love the front to back sharpness with the emphasis on the floating leaves and the sun's reflections. I would like to know how wide a lens you used for this.
