Saltwick sunset
by Lizzie Shepherd
Another from my late June evening at Saltwick Bay on the Yorkshire Coast - this was when the sky was at its fieriest - I actually prefer the colours from just before sunset but this was certainly dramatic and great fun to witness. I had to rush the composition a bit to get the best position on the colour in sky and water.
All comments very welcome as always.

5 commentsWayne - I like to think I'm able to react to things quickly because, as much as careful planning and waiting for 'that moment' are important, being able to 'grab' what may suddenly appear before you is equally important imo. But you are right - there are infinite possibilities there in terms of composition and I suspect some super more intimate images to be made. I need to get back there - though I think I need a pretty low tide to see these fun rock formations again. As for the long panorama - that one could be rather nice too so thanks for that idea!
