The first art work I post from my recent trip to New Zealand where it was a combination of a group workshop in addition to personal backpacking and goals to achieve

In a rainy and windy night at an old wooden cottage which needs about 2 km to reach the bay. I think Kah Kit Yoong knows this bay very well

here on this link if you are interested you can find a group portrait from the trip

The lighting in this coastal scene is exquisite, Abdullaziz. The soft lighting and subdued color palette impart a wonderful painterly feel to this image. I am going to have to make it to New Zealand one of these days.

This is gorgeous! The softness of the grass looks so inviting, and the pastels of the sky are beautiful. Great catch.

Fantastic light and color in the sky Abdullaziz. I can definitely hear the whispering grasses blowing in the wind.

Hi Abdullaziz,

The lighting is fantastic, as is the composition. Another plus is the pastel tones of the image.

Well done.

Carol

Ooooh, I love your exposure for the grasses and the overall color palette here. This scene could easily have had little impact but you turned this in a real winner!

Gorgeous colour and light. I like the movement in the foreground grasses, I can feel the breeze in my face.

Welcome back...

I liked the light...it was perfect timing...Also I liked the soft foreground...

but I think I would give less space to this foreground...I would give more to the great light in the background...

Well done...and waiting to see more...

This image affects me so strongly for its beauty, I cannot put words to it. Must mean that viewing it becomes a spiritual experience. Thank you!
