I almost missed this sunset because that day was an overcast one in Vila Nova de Milfontes (Alentejo, Portugal). As I went out just before sunset, I saw that opening near the horizon where the sun was setting, and I run to the seaside with my camera and stuff. Fortunately it was at low tide hour and I could take advantage of the incredible forms right under the water to compose this shot.

Canon 5D MkII · 17-40L · Singh Ray RGND filter for the sky.

This is my first photo in NPN and I'd really appreciate your comments and suggestions.
Thanks!

Gorgeous colors and composition!
I like the way you arranged the composition of the foreground texture.
It allows the eye to jump into the image by following the dry lines and finally rests in the beautiful red void!

Congrats,
Christian. :toast:

Sweet shot - reminds me of the images I have seen of the Death Valley salt flats with the patterns you have here. That must be the surf I see in the far left horizon. Looks great as is, no suggestion from me- just enjoying the brilliant lighting. Welcome!

Excellent shot Jose. I really like the patterns in the foreground leading your eyes back, and the light is fantastic. My only suggestion would be to see if you can get a bit more detail out of the shadows in the image. Overall a great photo. Welcome to NPN.
