Beautiful and moody shot, Eva. Feels very much like one of Ian's shots though perhaps the composition is not quite in line with his style. That's not at all a criticism, of course, and I like your approach here very much. You really came away from the workshop with some fine shots!

Beautiful. I love the moody feel you captured, Eva. I agree with all that Phil just said, and you really came away from Ian C's workshop with some wonderful images!

Definitely Eye of Mordor material. Great looking processing I take it the wave in the tranny didn't present too much of a problem for you in the scan. Good details throughout and a lovely colour combo which changed by the minute.

Thanks Phil and Nick we had some great "eerie" light on this trip as like to call it.

Ian - Many thanks. I scanned this last night without the aide of ANR glass which was at my door step when I arrived home this evening from work. I will probably rescan to see if I see a difference. My Quriraing and Inverpolly transparencies were the most wavy (process variation I guess at the developer). We most certainly had some great light on this trip for sure! I am extremely pleased with both my digital and film images. Glad I got a chance to revisit film with the use of your 2nd camera kit. I have not seriously done film since the late '90's. There is just something about film I just don't want to give up..... but don't think I wold give up digital either.

This is very nicely done, Eva. I love the overall beauty that has been captured, along with the fine detail in the foreground.

Good to see the Pentax 67ii put to such wonderful use.

Coincidentally, i was just messing around on the gtr, with my umpteenth version of 'Stairway', which of course is part Tolkien influenced--so you see, all things in life are connected...

Real nice shot, Eva, some terrific mood here. I like it as is, but my first thought was 'gloomy' so im curious what some desaturation (or selective desaturation) might do for it (probably reduce the number of views... )
OK--i just noticed the film type--now i get it...

Beautiful moody shot, Eva. As usual this is well composed and processed. This would look splendid in a large print.

Very moody, but then isn't that the essence of Scotland and the moors, lochs and shores. The larger image really matches the title. I like the richness of the colors, muted, subtle but beautiful in their way. If only there was a light beam pointing in your direction but maybe it was turned away at the moment.

Great capture of textures and colors for me, Eva. Your composition leads me nicely from near to distance and makes me feel like standing in the middle of the scene.

Very moody indeed. Almost eerie. Does not look like a very hospitable place.
