Days before the storm

This image was taken two days before a snow storm transformed the San Juan Mountains landscape (a posting of one of those images will follow). The expanse of these Aspen groves was breathtaking and is what I was trying to emphasize as well as the textural contrast with the conifers. Feedback is always welcome, thanks for looking.

Great fall image. I like the way the yellows lead the eye into the image.

I bet this looks spectacular printed large. I like the change from aspen to pines. The bare barks add a nice contrast. I do think some of the yellows are saturated. Would like to see a larger version.

Great eye for detail Robb. I love the way you framed the image with the conifers in the back. The clearing in the foreground really opens up the image. I like this a lot.

Beautiful shot, Robb. I like the contrasting golds and greens with just a few hints of orange. I'm sure this needs to be seen in a larger format to be fully appreciated.

That's a stunning display of aspen color. I like the punctuation of the conifers among the aspen. Creates a lot more texture.

I think this shows the scale of the aspen display in Colorado quite well. Nice color and mix of trees.
