Goldcrest.
One from today's session. I,ve posted it as a pic with what you might call a "busy" background!! I cleaned most of the leaves out but the pool was full again within half an hour with hardly any water showing.
So I left it as is. Can't do much about it anyway with the leaf drop and wind. Couple of really bright yellow leaves cloned out.
Please view the biggie

Thats beautiful man. I absolutely love the fall leaves. I think im going to buy a D7000 pretty soon. My D200 broke and I dont think it is worth it to have it fixed right now. But im missing out on alot of pictures.

The leaves make a lovely background. Detail in the bird is excellent. The head turn and look provide intensity to the stare of the bird. Very nice one.

Lovely, John. The 1200px shows the bird to real advantage. You didn't post where you were on your zoom, but I'd sure like to have more bird and less leaves.

Thanks all.
Jim- It would be about 250mm. I agree the bird is small but I was interested in the reaction to posting one with a "messy" background, as I said on the UKNP gallery. It is quite sharp so I could certainly boost the size of the bird.
