This looks like a painting. The quality of light and soft colors are wonderful. Nicely composed too.

Only 3 comments- that is ridiculous. The thumbnail does not do this justice.

Totally different but I like the way the elements, light, and color play together here. This is the type of image I like to see here. I could never visualize or get enthusiastic about seeing the scene in the field, and I love how other people see things so I know what I'm missing.

Love the design of these trees and that soft warm light on the tree trunks really makes this gorgeous in my opinion. Folks have to look at the large image to really appreciate the textures and subtleties of light. Well done.

Magnificent image, Larry. I get the impression of European landscape painters when looking at this. Wonderful light and color with a classical comp. Love it.

A plain composition that works impressively for me, Larry. The trunks anchore the scene well in my opinion and the diversity of natural autumn colors is a real pleasure for me.

What makes this arresting, for me, are the spaces created by the strong lines of the tree. You could take everything else out of the image, leaving just those lines and the frame, and the result would be pleasing to look at. The orange, yellow, green palette works nicely with the small counterpoint of blue in the sky. My only nit is the way the upper 1/3 of the frame is blocked up in both highlights and shadows. I think you may have been attempting to counter the effect of the filter and it got muddied up. But the shot itself is well seen.
