Some of the most intense light I've ever seen was captured in this shot. I'm wondering if the bush on the right edge is too distracting? I can attempt to clone it out if this is so. All comments and critiques welcome....thanks!

Jake, Wow! This is awesome lighting you got here. I love the reds on the Superstitions and the way the light makes the spines on the barrel cactus stand out. I don't find the brush on the right distracting at all. I would love to have a shot like this in my files. Great work!

Wow am I bummed I didn't head out there then. Was this from a few nights ago? Anyways. Great shot, a lot going for it specifically the light. This is exactly the spot I had in mind when I saw the supes glowing. I like the foreground elements, but I wonder if you had shot from a slightly lower angle to emphasize the small barrel cactus if it would make the overall comp stronger. The bush on the right doesn't bother me at all. I'm pretty jealous of this shot. I hope the clouds today stick around. Good work.

Awesome shot Jake! Cant believe I missed this light. The bush on the right is not that distracting. Maybe just burn it down a bit? But other than that you caught some sweet light!

Nice composition with extraordinary light. I don't find the bush on the right hand side of the frame to be distracting at all. I wonder if you could bring out just a little more contrast out of the clouds - that might make this an even stronger image.

I didn't even notice the bush until I read your description. Very nice comp, I like the line created by the saguaro and the bottom of the hill and that is some beautiful light you captured!

Beautiful glow and great composition. Bush on the right is not a distraction in my opinion. Well done.

Dramatic and intense for sure. Could see darkening the sky and lightening the lower portions to bring better balance to the overall lighting and allowing each element to assume more equal weigh in the scene.

Intense indeed. I would darken the bush on the right and cactus on the left a bit, but again, that is just me  It is a fantastic image regardless.
