Another photo from Ecuador in June 2010. I am eagerly looking forward to returning this January for another incredible photographic adventure in Ecuador. The timing of our trip should be perfect for large numbers and species variety of hummingbirds.

Canon 40D, 100-400mm @ 275mm, 1/200, f22, ISO 500, Multi-flash Set-up, cropped 20% all around

All your comments and suggestions are very much appreciated

Hi, Ken - Beautiful bird, nice use of the multi-flash set-up, and good exposure.
The BG could use a round of NR, and a small nit is that black bit in the flower - easily cloned out , if you wished to.
Wish I could come again to Ecuador in January
Sandy .

Awesome image Ken, with a great pose and position relative to the flower. Just curious... what was your iso setting for this shot? Hope to see more!

Very nice hummer shot Ken, I like the hummer colors and the pose with the wings upright so you can see all the body, well done.
